Normally we stay in accommodations in a lower price range, but we decided to treat ourselves. What a good decision! We were welcomed very warmly by Brian and Gillian, and we immediately felt at home. The bed, the small kitchen, the shower, the location: everything was just right. The sauna that came with our pod was heated up for us whenever we wanted. We felt very welcome and spoiled.

Sauna. Cabin. Views. Absolutely stunning place and relaxing. Owner first class and very welcoming and go extra mile to make sure your stay is excellent. Highly recommend this place and I certainly will be using alot in the future. Views of Loch Lomond and Ben Lomond made it even more special. Out all places I've stayed and I've stayed in thousands of hotels this is my favourite place 👌👏. Take my advice and try this place as you will not be disappointed.

We had the most amazing stay at Stoneymollen®️ Brian and Gillian were amazing hosts, very accommodating of our arrival time, had the best recommendations for food. The hot tub at night was gorgeous, with a star-lit sky and beautiful essential oils! The cabin was so cosy and clean. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a romantic stay with stunning views and an easy commute from Glasgow!

Where to start! Stoneymollan was easy to get to and a nice drive from Edinburgh. Brian greeted us as soon as we arrived with a friendly smile and a warm welcome - the dram of Glenmorangie also went down a treat! After a wee tour we settled into the Juniper cabin which was incredible. The cabin was cosy and perfectly kitted out to make our stay one of the best nights away we’ve had. The wood fired hot tub was great too. We’re already planning on going back and have already recommended Stoneymollan to friends. Thank you Brian and Gillian for making us feel welcome and being the perfect hosts.

Just back from a 2 night stay here celebrating post law assessments for the semester & it was sooo special! Aside from the cosy pods and how special they are, the owners are just amazing people and make your experience one to remember! Cant thank them enough for being so kind & catering to us! The furry friend they have is an absolute bonus as well! Could not recommend a nicer, cosier getaway in such a stunning place surrounded by amazing views & walks. We will definitely be back if not for the hot tub & pod, but for the beautiful doggo!! Thank you so much.

Just magical. To be honest, over two months have passed since my family and I stayed the one rainy night at Stoneymollan and I’ve been selfishly avoiding writing a review because it’s such a special and magical place, I don’t want to share! Alas, I owe the proprietors a glowing testimonial. Their kindness and gracious hospitality was a highlight of our trip. The accommodations were so cozy and view so beautiful, we didn’t mind being stuck in at all. Thankfully, it cleared up the next morning and we were able to enjoy a lovely walk along the property. We can’t wait to go back.

My trip to Stoneymollan could only be described as my heaven on earth!! What a stunning location and fantastic hosts Gillian and Brian. They really were super, so friendly and welcoming! The pod was fab, very cosy and warm with under floor heating, equipped with everything you would need for your stay. The hot tub was fabulous, but oh the views… in one word stunning!! The family pet dog just stole my heart along with Stoneymollan. This is one place everyone needs to visit. I will definitely be making more trips back there as it is a very special place! Think I left a little of my heart there!

Me and my partner had an amazing stay at Stoneymollan and we can’t wait to come back! The private wood fire hot tub was unreal, we loved the changing coloured lights and gorgeous views over Balloch. We loved every part of the luxury pod and it was full of special touches that made our stay even better. The hosts Gillian and Brian were so kind, welcoming and thoughtful. The location is so peaceful, surrounded by a beautiful landscape with lovely walks on our doorstep and views of Loch Lomond. Easy links to Glasgow, we 100% recommend these luxury pods.

I have spent 2 incredible days with my wife and kids at Stoneymollan as the beginning of our first trip to Scotland. We were hosted by Brian, Gillian and their family, and we couldn’t expect lovelier and more welcoming hosts. The experience at the pod was very exciting - the word ‘luxury’ is definitely adequate - and the sauna was a real treat. We found that here you can have it all: the peace and tranquillity of a stunning landscape, and the ready access to all the activity and bustle around Loch Lomond and even Glasgow. But what impressed me the most was the love for the place and the land around it expressed in Brian’s words and gestures. And even in such a short stay, it was easy to understand why he and is family fell in love with Stoneymollan. A place is more than landscape and architecture: it’s also people. After our stay, we kept travelling around Scotland and saw many places of beauty and wonder, but for me Brian and his family will stand out as the perfect Scottish hosts.
